Run DPhiL
Alumna Program
We know as an undergrad you loved having fun with sisters! Now as an alumna, imagine a run/walk where every mile is filled with support from sisters. Whether you live near Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Orlando, or wherever else, we have a race just for you! Providing options allows flexibility to participate.
"Run DPhiL" is a program of the Delta Phi Lambda Foundation. Run DPhiL is based on the Aids Walk/Relay for Life model. Sisters who join the Run DPhiL team, are able to use their athletic talents to help raise funds for the Foundation's Annual Fund. Sisters register, raise money, and run/walk together on the day of the races. Participating in Run DPhiL provides sisters an opportunity to train and participate in a race alongside sisters from across the nation.
Run DPhiL is more than just a fundraiser. Participation in the race helps alumnae continue to promote our national philanthropy: osteoporosis awareness and education. By training for the race, you can put those healthy behaviors we promote to practice. Combining increased calcium and vitamin D consumption with bone-strengthening activity can build strong bones and lead healthier lifestyles. Our national partnership with Best Bones Forever! can help alumnae find fun ways to achieve a healthier lifestyle,www.bestbonesforever.gov.
Once you've registered for a race, sisters are asked to join Run DPhiL by setting up their own fundraising page.
